We are delighted to hear this week that Sarah Outen’s rowing boat Happy Socks has been found drifting north of the Azores and towed safely in by the coastguard. Sarah was forced to abandon her boat as Hurricane Joaquim took a hold back in October.
Marlec sponsored the Rutland Windcharger power supply that had enabled Sarah to maintain communication with the outside world during her epic journey. She finally rowed back into London on November 4th 2015 and is currently writing about her travels.
